Privacy Policy

A Note Before We Begin

Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit directionseries.com, how we use it, and how we protect it. We are committed to handling your information with the same care and intention we bring to everything we do.

Who We Are

Polaris Press LLC is an independent Christian publishing company based in Atlanta, Georgia, and the publisher of the Direction Series. If you have questions about this policy, you may reach us at hello@polarispress.org.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: When you complete a form on our site — including our interest and waitlist forms or our contact form — we collect your first name, last name, email address, and any message or areas of interest you choose to share. This information is provided voluntarily by you.

Information collected automatically: Like most websites, directionseries.com uses Squarespace's built-in analytics tools to collect basic, non-identifying information about site visitors — including pages visited, time spent on the site, and general geographic region. This data helps us understand how our site is used and improve your experience. We do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Notify you when the Direction Series or related products become available

  • Respond to your questions or inquiries

  • Process and fulfill your orders

  • Communicate order confirmations, shipping updates, and support responses

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Payment Processing

All purchases made on directionseries.com are processed securely through Squarespace Commerce, which uses Stripe as its payment processor. Polaris Press LLC does not store, see, or have access to your full credit card information. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We share limited information only as necessary to fulfill your order or operate our site:

  • Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx) receive your name and delivery address to complete your shipment

  • Squarespace hosts our website and processes forms and payments on our behalf

  • Stripe processes payment transactions securely

All service providers are required to handle your information responsibly and only for the purposes we specify.

Email Communications

If you submit your email address through one of our forms, you may receive updates from Polaris Press LLC related to product availability, the Direction Series, or other announcements. Every email communication we send will include an option to unsubscribe. We will honor all unsubscribe requests promptly.

We do not send spam. We do not add you to any list without your direct action.

Cookies

Squarespace uses cookies — small data files stored on your device — to operate the website and provide basic analytics. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You may adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, though some features of the site may not function as intended if you do.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. You may request that your information be deleted at any time by contacting us at hello@polarispress.org.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information

  • Withdraw consent for email communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@polarispress.org. We will respond within 30 days.

Age

Directionseries.com is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
